For my research paper I am thinking about focusing on the importance of a signature and ending the letter. There is a specific way some people end their letters and I think there is so much more to unpack when going through. There is two major components that I would focus on. One would be how they wrap up their letters which includes, their signature and they way of saying best regards. Then I would focus on if they added any PS to their letters. What is the importance of a PS in a letter and why should it not be included in the letter itself. There are so many important qualities to letters and I think the endings are over looked with how much they show who the writer is and how they write. Also going through timelines and how people ended throughout centuries I think is another important thing I would look at.
