After reading 9 reasons not to abandon handwritten letters I remember the importance it is. There is no feeling like getting a letter from a loved one, a friend, or a stranger. Knowing the effort and patience someone put in to send you a letter shows the importance. They make every word count. It also honors tradition and keeps friendships together. Keeping in touch with someone through letters is so much more meaningful. Lastly they’re timeless, holding onto a memory like a letter protects the memory.
